Privacy and personal data

How the Château du Falga website handles your data: contact form, cookie-free audience measurement and your rights under the GDPR.

We care about your privacy. This page explains in plain words which data this website processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is the Château du Falga, 2 route du Village, 31540 Le Falga, France. For any question about your data: bienvenue@chateaudufalga.fr. Full legal information is available in the legal notice.

What data when you write to us?

When you send a booking, filming or general request through the contact form, we receive what you enter: name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), dates, number of guests and your message.

Audience measurement: no cookies, no banner

To know which pages interest our visitors, the website uses its own audience measurement, hosted with the site, without any third-party service (no Google Analytics, no advertising network):

This meets the conditions set by the French data protection authority (CNIL) for audience measurement tools exempt from consent, which is why no cookie banner is shown. You may nevertheless object to this measurement by writing to us.

Cookies and third-party content

The website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server: your browser does not connect to Google to display the site.

The videos on the Filming & sessions page are only loaded when you click on them, from YouTube's "no-cookie" version (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play a video, you connect to YouTube (Google) services, which apply their own privacy policy.

Links to Instagram, YouTube or other websites take you to third-party services subject to their own rules.

Hosting and security

The website and its data are stored by our hosting provider, identified in the legal notice. All exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS) and the administration area is protected.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and the right to data portability. To exercise them, write to us at bienvenue@chateaudufalga.fr: we reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL or with the data protection authority of your country.
